HEAVY HORSE FESTIVAL OF S.A.

We are excited to bring to you South Australia's very own Heavy Horse Festival to celebrate all of our very much loved and rare Heavy Horse breeds!
This will be a weekend packed to the brim with all things related to the heavy horse. Expected features such as Harness, Working demonstrations and Breed Led classes will be accompanied by supporting activities such as Dressage, Trail Riding & other  Ridden Classes. As well as a Trade Village & Heavy Horse Drawn Vehicle Show.

​Australia has a long association with the Clydesdale breed and most of us have some connection to friends or family who used to work the land with this stunning gentle giant. This weekend will not only celebrate the Clydesdale but many other breeds that have increasingly become popular within Australia. Some are very rare and not often seen!

We welcome all to attend and/or camp for the weekend. Whether you are a young budding enthusiast or an 'old timer' who wishes to reminisce of times past.... we welcome you all to take part in this festival!
